My experience is when you ask a question like that, they change the subject so fast it makes a “Whoosh!”
Ask why they don’t complain about Reagan raising taxes, they say “You lib’ruls think health care should be free!”
Ask why they aren’t opposed to Veterans Benefits because those aren’t specified in the Constitution, they respond with “Ted Kennedy killed that girl!”
Ask why we invaded a crippled country based on phony reports, they respond “Ah got a right to carry any kin’ a’ gun I want!”
Sheesh……
