I was prompted to write tonight because I brought up your two sandbox toons in a conversation about our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. After looking them up so I could show them to my conversational partner, I was rather amazed to see that the first one was within the first week after 9/11 and the second was well before the invasion of Iraq. Anyway, I’m not exactly sure what my point is, except to say that those two toons made me follow your strip much more closely than I might have (I remain a fan) and that I congratulate you post facto on both your prescience and your courage. What’s life like in the sandbox now, I wonder?
