letter o’ the week concerning my “black people for rent” strip…

I read the K Chronicles every week on Salon. I can’t remember if I’ve

written before to tell you how much I enjoy them.

I’m sympathetic to your feeling of being the only _____ in the group. I’m

nearly always the only Indian (Santee Sioux) wherever I go.

Plus, since I’ve never lived on the Rez, and I don’t really know anyone

else in my tribe (besides my mom), I’m often treated like a non-Indian by

other Indians.

*sigh*
